Rubin Worldwide, in an effort to continue to monitor how technology creates value, has launched the Technology Leadership Index.
The Technology Leadership Index (TLI) tracks the cumulative performance of 300+ leading technology firms (click here for member list) vis a vis the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500, and the Fortune 500. Since 2006, the TLI has averaged a 2.5 % difference from the DJIA, 8.44 % from the S&P, and -3.22 % from the Fortune 500 companies although currently the TLI is 21.06 % above where it was in January 2006, vs. 11.53 % for the DJIA, 1.89 % for the S&P 500, and 29.3 % for the Fortune 500 companies.
